“My boyfriend and I wanted to try a new restaurant for date night. After reading lots of great reviews, we gave Monticello a try. We agreed that the entire experience was a 10/10! We sat outside. The outdoor seating area is small and cozy without being crowded. The food was incredible. I had the rigatoni with sausage and broccoli rabe and he had chicken parm. I brought a bottle of wine, and we had the lava cake dessert. (It was amazing.) I’m not exaggerating… I think this is my new favorite restaurant. We will be back!”

“I just love this restaurant! I had an amazing birthday dinner on Sunday. Everything we ordered: Long Hots with Shrimp, Eggplant Rollatini, Poached Pear, Calamari, Spaghettini Amatriciana, Risotto Pescatore, Catch of the Day Puttanesca, the Brined Pork Chop and the Bread Pudding for dessert were all delicious, beautifully presented and great portion sizes. Not one complaint from anyone at our table! Our server Leo was attentive and friendly. I need to visit this place more often!”

“Had a wonderful time last week dining at Monticello before seeing a show at Count Basie! Amanda was great, the food was superb, and my wife said the broccoli rabe was the best she has ever had, and she's an aficionado on that! Speaking of aficionados, we both agreed the tiramisu was off the charts!!!, the best we have had. If New Jersey ever has a state-wide tiramisu contest, and Monticello enters....winner!!! Yum! Keep up the great work.”
